Tayon Williams
Technology & Community Engagement Manager
Tayon Williams is an innovator, technologist, and community catalyst with a one-of-a-kind blend of software engineering smarts, chemistry chops, and a passion for people-powered solutions. With roots in analytical chemistry and a leap into full-stack development, Tayon bridges the gap between science and tech to build applications that solve real-world problems—especially the ones others overlook.
Tayon began his career exploring the molecular makeup of everyday products, mastering tools like infrared spectroscopy and chromatography before realizing his true calling: building systems that work smarter, not harder. Today, he leverages that knowledge to power initiatives in machine learning, UI/UX innovation, and backend architecture across freelance, startup, and consulting projects—including his own venture, Men Cry Too, a mental health platform designed to shift culture and create safe spaces for men.
Beyond the code, Tayon is deeply engaged in his community. He’s a proud member of Career Karma’s Black Genius Academy – a Google initiative, the UGA Alumni Association, and the American Chemical Society. Whether mentoring, training new developers, or helping underserved organizations modernize their systems, Tayon shows up with grit, grace, and a relentless drive to leave things better than he found them.
When he’s not solving complex problems or building the next big idea, Tayon enjoys pushing his limits—mentally, spiritually, and physically. He believes that progress, like software, is best made iteratively and collaboratively. His goal? To continue creating tools and communities that move the world forward—one smart, meaningful solution at a time.
